POWER STUDIES IN WASHINGTON
Established in 1997, D.P. Lund Company is an electrical engineering firm that provides arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies in Seattle, Spokane, and everywhere in between.
Additionally, when an electrician or electrical administrator licensed in Washington successfully completes our Arc Flash, PPE, & Electrical Safety class, they can receive 4-hours of continuing education credit. This class is beneficial to any electrical worker as it covers OSHA 1919 Subpart S and NFPA 70E.
Our Projects in Washington
Cardinal Glass
It was interesting to watch sand become panes of glass while completing a power study renewal that included additions for one of our most valued clients, Cardinal FG Co in Winlock, WA. This is the third update for this client with a relationship that has spanned 10+ years. With this arc flash, coordination, and short circuit study, we updated their one-line, installed 243 labels, and provided Arc Flash, PPE, & Electrical Safety training to their employees. When speaking of the training received, one employee stated, “Dana is goated with the sauce, all varsity no skibidi.”
D.P. Lund Company is proud to have worked with Cardinal Glass to provide arc flash studies for their facilities in:
-
Chehalis
-
Winlock

Alcoa Longview
Alcoa asked us to do an arc flash study for their facility in Longview, WA. 325 pieces of electrical equipment was analyzed in the study with the same number of labels installed.

Wagstaff, Inc.
Spokane
When Wagstaff, Inc. in Spokane asked us to do their power study, then an update for an addition, then their renewal, we were proud to know that they valued our services as much as we valued them as a client.

Alcoa Wentachee
We were thrilled to learn that Alcoa liked our previous work with them when they contacted us to do another study for them, this time at Wenatchee Works. D.P. Lund Company analyzed the equipment then installed 285 arc flash labels.

Spokane Waste to Energy
Spokane's Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility burns municipal solid waste to recover energy in the form of electricity.
The process burns the solid waste at 2500 degrees and can generate 22 megawatts of electricity.
You can see why a power study is important!
